I don’t have a Hebrew keyboard

You can use the virtual keyboard on your computer to type in Hebrew characters even if your physical keyboard is set to English.

How to add a virtual Hebrew Keyboard

Here are the steps to enable the virtual keyboard in Windows:

 

1. 1. Click on the “Start” menu and select “Settings.”

1. 1. Click on “Time & Language,” then “Language.”

1. 1. Scroll down and click on “Add a language.”

1. 1. Select “Hebrew” from the list of available languages and click “Add.”

1. 1. Once Hebrew has been added to your list of languages, click on “Options” to the right of it.

1. 1. Under the “Keyboards” section, click “Add a keyboard.”

1. 1. Select “Hebrew – Standard” or “Hebrew – Phonetic” (whichever you prefer), and then click “Add.”

1. 1. Close the settings window.

Now that you have added the Hebrew keyboard to your computer, you can use the virtual keyboard to type in Hebrew characters.

How to open the virtual Hebrew Keyboard 

To open the virtual keyboard, follow these steps:

 

1. 1. Click on the “Start” menu and select “Windows Accessories.”

1. 1. Click on “On-Screen Keyboard” to open the virtual keyboard.

1. 1. The virtual keyboard should appear on your screen, and you can select the Hebrew keyboard layout from the language bar on the taskbar.

Once you have the virtual keyboard open, you can use it to type in Hebrew characters by clicking on the letters with your mouse or by using the corresponding keys on your physical keyboard.
